Arrival in Kathmandu (1275m)
Upon Arrival in Kathmandu Airport you will be expected to complete your custom formalities (Visa etc.) We suggest you to look for our representative who will be waiting for you at the arrival gate with the Everest View Treks And Expedition display board you will then be transferred to hotel Marshyangdi or another hotel similar category Include B/B.
Arrangement of Trekking Equipment and half day sightseeing tour with our Tour Guide.
Completion of required official procedures and taking a cultural tour of Kathmandu before the actual Trekking will be the main agenda of this day. After Breakfast there will be cultural tours to world heritage sites in Kathmandu which include Kathmandu Durbar square, Pashupatinath Hindu Temple, Swayambhunath and boudhanath during the afternoon, you will be meeting with the Trekking program along with your guide at EVT office for a pre-Trips discussion Include B/B.
Fly from Kathmandu to Lukla 2840m and trek to Phakding 2610 m/3-4 hours, stay overnight at Lodge.
30 minutes flight, 3 - 4 hrs. treks from domestic terminal of Kathmandu Airport for an early morning flight to Lukla (2,800m/9,186 ft), a gateway destination from where our trek begins. After an adventurous 40 minute flight above the breathtaking green and white mountains, we reach the Tenzing-Hillary Airport at Lukla. This is one of the most beautiful air routes in the world culminating in a dramatic landing on a hillside surrounded by high mountains peaks. Upon arrival at Lukla, we meet our other crew members and after some packing and arrangements, we start our trek through the prosperous village of Lukla until we reach Phakding. To assist in acclimatization, we only have a short hike today. However, if interested in additional activities we can take a side trip to a nearby monastery. Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar 3440m/5-6 hours, stay overnight at Lodge.
Today's trek: Our trek starts in the morning after breakfast. The walk today is pleasant with few short uphill and downhill with multiple crossings over Dudh Koshi River and magnificent view of Mt. Thamserku (6,608m/21,675ft) from the Benkar village. We cross more bridges and reach entrance of Sagarmatha National Park at Monjo, where our trekking permits are checked in order to keep record of trekkers and local trekking staffs as well. A descend and a gradual walk brings us to Jorsale, the last village until Namche Bazaar. The walk is enjoyable through the river bed and we reach Hillary Suspension Bridge. Now, as we climb up hill towards Namche Bazzar, closer and magnificent sight of Kwangde Peak, its sister peaks, Kusum Kangaru, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Tawache, and many other fabulous mountains will be viewed closely. We stop at Chautara to admire the view. Finally, we reach the colorful village of Namche Bazzar, the main gateway of Khumbu region. Overnight at guest house include meal B/L/D.
Acclimatization Day, hike to Everest View Hotel and back to Lodge.
Namche Bazaar. This is the first of the three scheduled "acclimatization" days. Health experts always recommend us to stay active and moving during the rest days instead of being idle. We either spend the day taking a day hike to Khumjung visiting Khunde or relaxing and exploring Namche Bazaar itself. If we trek a few hundred vertical feet during the day, it will help us to properly acclimatize. Your guides will take us to the Tourist Visitor Center near the headquarter of the Sagarmatha National Park where we can observe an assortment of things related to the first Everest descender, Sherpa culture and learn about the various plant and animal life of the Everest region. Namche Bazaar is the main center of the Everest (Khumbu) region and has government offices, ATM, Internet cafes, shops, restaurants, a bakery and a colorful market each Friday evening and Saturday. If we trek a few hundred vertical feet during the day, it will help us to properly acclimatize. Overnight at Guest house include meal B/L/D.

In the morning, you’ll hop a brief flight from Lukla to Kathmandu, where your journey both began and ends. You’ll transfer to your hotel upon landing for some much-needed solo rest and reflection after your trek conquering the Himalayas. We’ll reunite in the evening for a farewell dinner at one of the best Nepalese restaurants in town, where we’ll be eager to hear your feedback on the trip.Overnight at hotel Include B/B.
