Despite being a relatively new route, Saribung Peak Climbing has quickly gained popularity among climbers and mountaineers due to its remote trails and challenging passes. Standing at 6,328 meters, Saribung Peak is situated in the isolated Mustang Region, near the China border. This trek offers breathtaking views of diverse landscapes, snow-clad peaks, and winding rivers, along with a chance to experience the unique traditions and culture of the local communities living in this secluded area.

The adventure begins in the windy town of Jomsom, from where you proceed to Kagbeni. Along the way, you’ll encounter beautiful ethnic villages, rich in culture, eventually leading to the remote regions of Yara and Luri Gompa. After conquering Saribung Peak, the descent takes you through Nar Phu Valley, concluding the journey at Besisahar. The trek is both demanding and rewarding, with rugged terrain, high cliffs, and remote villages. Saribung Peak Climbing also includes crossing ice-covered passes between the Damodar Kunda region and Nar-Phu Valley. From the summit of Saribung Peak, you'll be treated to spectacular mountain vistas, including Nilgiri Himal (7,061m), Himlung Himal (7,126m), Lamjung Himal (6,983m), Mt. Manaslu (8,156m), and Annapurna II (7,937m). Additionally, you'll visit ancient monasteries and have the chance to interact with locals, gaining insights into their way of life. This trek, combining rugged trails and cultural immersion, is perfect for adventurers looking for a unique challenge. The ideal trekking seasons are from March to May and September to November.
