Best Time for Manaslu Expedition
The ultimate period for both trekking and mountain expeditions is considered to be spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November). In general, trekking adventures in the Himalayas can even be done during the off-seasons, such as monsoon and winter, after making preparations to counter the weather challenges. However, during a mountain expedition such as this, it is necessary to choose the most appropriate season as the weather phenomenon of the off-seasons can create significant hurdles and even put the life of the mountaineer at risk.
Doing the expedition of Manalsu during the peak season also has its perks. The spring is popular as the wondrous period of nature, where you can enjoy the lush greenery everywhere you look. Similarly, the trail is decorated with stunning, colorful flowers, and it is also the most appropriate period for wildlife exploration and bird watching. Autumn is also a favorable season with pleasant and stable climatic conditions. The trails are smooth and dry during this season, and the clear visibility rewards you with stunning views of the sparkling peaks as far as your eyes can reach.
