Kot Dada-1 day Hike
One Day hiking trip from Godavari to Bishankhunarayan (Kotdanda): Godavari, one of the greenest and peaceful places of Kathmandu valley, lies at 14 km away from central Kathmandu. It sits at the lap of Phulchoki Hill (2,791) meters. Godavari is a holy place where temples, Godavari Kunda, Secret water and Maha Kumva mela and stone cravings of Hindu gods are found. It is also popular picnic spot.

Itinerary
We start our day tour from Godavari on the way to Kotdanda enjoying natural beauty of Langtang Himal, Ganesh Himal, Dorge Lakpa Himal. Along the way we can enjoy the beautiful scenery of alpine forest, rhododendron flowers and life of local village too.
07:00am – Gather all groups in front of Everest View Treks & Expedition Office.
07:15am – Depart from office drive about 14 km (approx. 45 minutes depending upon the traffic) to Godavari.
08:00am – Last minute shopping for the hike (water bottle, snacks, gums).
Start your hike uphill for 2 hours to Chapakharka Danda. After up and down to Kotedanda, you stop for the lunch at Kotdanda. Then head down to Bishankhunaryan.
Lunch break for half an hour (note: there is a small Army canteen where you could buy tea, water, some snack, noodle soups etc. but make sure that you bring plenty of snacks and water as there are no water or food available on the way)
12:30- Hike up to Bishankhunarayan (Kotedanda)
4:00pm– Meet your vehicle at Bishankhu Narayan and drive back to Kathmandu and drop all the group member in Everest view Treks Office.
