Ganjala pass Trekking begins in Syabrubesi at the start of the beautiful, narrow Langtang valley. The Trek begins by hiking up river through lush Rhododendron and Bamboo forest to Kyanjin Gompa. Kyanjin Gompa is surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks and is home to a Buddhist Monastery and a renowned cheese Factory which was established by the Swiss Association for Technical Assistance back in 1955. Trekking over the 5,122m Ganjala pass is a serious undertaking and requires the use of some Technical equipment and an experienced Guide. As part of this trek passes through an area without settlements, we will be Camping and fully self sufficient with food and Fuel.

After The Ganjala we pass in to the Helembu and continue the Journey Through the beautiful rice terrace, Buddhist monasteries and Charming villages including the Sherpa village of TarkeGhayang. The name means ‘’Temple of 100 horses’’ and was taken from the name of a temple build in 1727 by a Buddhist monks who was asked by the king of Kathmandu (then Kantipur) to stop an epidemic. As this reward, the monk asked for 100 horses, which he Broughtto the village.
The Ganjala Trek is an Adventurous undertaking and offers the seasoned trekker a true wilderness experience.

Itinerary

Day 1

Arrival Kathmandu (1275m)

 

Upon Arrival, in Kathmandu Airport you will be expected to complete your custom formalities (Visa etc.) We suggest you look for our representative who will be waiting for you at the arrival gate with the Everest View Treks and Expedition display board you will then be transferred to hotel Manang or another hotel similar category include B/B.

Day 2

Kathmandu-Syabrubesi (1440 m): 7/8 hrs by Bus.

 

You will still early bus journey to Syabrubesi the starting point of the trek. Behind Trisuli Bazaar the road is tricky because of the grubby road. During the travel you will pass through many small villages on the way will be fascinating you with snippets Overnight at Guest house include meal B/L/D.

Day 3

Syabrubesi –Lama Hotel (2470 m) 5/6 hrs.

Crossing through the suspension bridge and heading precipitously along a stream. The river you are following is mostly the Langtang River. You can enjoy the walk going through oak rhododendron and bamboo forest. There is also a variety of wildlife in this forest Overnight at Guest house include meal B/L/D

Day 4

Lama Hotel-Langtang (3430 m) 5/6 hrs.

 

After breakfast you will continue your trip to your next destination. You are starting your trip descending towards a steep forest slope to the Langtang River. You Cross a bridge and head up with a winding path. The trail descends into a valley to cross a stream and climbs past several water-driven mills and prayer wheels to the large settlement of langtang. Overnight at Guest house include meal B/L/D.

Day 5

Langtang-Kyanjin Gompa (3870 m) 4/5 hrs.

 

You Pass through the tiny village, stone built house and climb to a chorten and passes a huge Mani along a gentle path of a hill. The valley relocates to a U- shaped one as you enter into a level of riverbed. Today is short walk. This Place is famous for cheese and curd. Overnight at Guest house include meal B/L/D.

Day 6

Kyanjin Gompa: Explore Day.

 

Kyanji RI (4800m) and Tserko Ri (5000m) are the good viewpoints in the area that you can climb. After Breakfast visit Tserko RI (5000m) for the spectacular view of the langtangLirung, Langtang Range, Kinshung Yansa Tsenji and the foot of the hung Lirung Glacier. Back to Guest house. Overnight at Guest house include meal B/L/D.

Day 7

Kyanjin Gompa to Ganjala Phedi (4200 mt) 5-6 hour walk o/n at Tent camp.

Trek to Ganjala phedi we walk 5 to 6 hour we cross kyanjin river the we climb to ganjala phedi Overnight tent camp include meal B/L/D

Day 8

Ganjala phedi to Ganjala high camp (5100 m) 5-6 hour walk o/n at Tent camp.

 

Trek to Ganjala High camp we climb all the way up hill today till ganjala high camp to ganjala high camp back side beautiful view Langtang Lirung and other mountain Overnight tent camp include meal B/L/D.

Day 9

Ganjala high camps to Ganjala pass (5130 m) to dhukpa (4040 m) 7-8 hour walk o/n at tent camp.

 

Trek to Dhukpa today we pass ganjala (5130 m)  early morning we start our trek today after pass we walk all the way down hill till our Destination camp Overnight tent camp include meal B/L/D.

Day 10

Dhukpa to Tarke ghang (2600 m) 7-8 hour walk o/n at guest house.

 

Today trek to Tarkeghang we wllk mostlu down hill Through the forest then we will arrive first villge Tarkeghang after kyanjin Overnight at Guest house include meal B/L/D.

Day 11

Tarke Ghang to Kakani (1996 m) 5-6 hour walk o/n at guest house.

 

trail gently descends through a Beautiful Forest to Sermathang  then gradual down hill it is a center of an important apple growing area from where a fantastic view of the Himalayas is seen. Overnight at Guest house include meal B/L/D.

Day 12

Kakani to Melamchi Bazaar (870m) drive back Kathmandu o/n at hotel B/B

 

As we leave Sermathang the trail then continue to descend to Dubhachaur at 1500 m, and then again steeply down to melamchi (830m) where we meet the road, This village has good collection of tea houses and Lodges and all kinds of Transportation including buses to get to panchkhal on the kodari road. From there, we can catch a bus to Kathmandu (4-5 hour drive by bus) to Kathmandu o/n at Hotel. include B/B.

Day 13

Fly home farewell friend

You are saying good bye to the mountains as your journey in Nepal. Comes to an end today we hope you enjoyed the tour with us, and are sure you will be back in your trip somewhere in the Himalayan again. Approximately 3 hour before your scheduled flight a representative from Everest View Treks ANd Expedition will transfer you to the airport on your way home you ll have plenty of time to plan your next Adventure in the wonderful country of Nepal.
